Common questions
Where are photos saved after taking them?
They do not go straight to your photo library. For the rest of the day, they stay in Off You Go Camera's Temporary Stock on the device.
When are photos saved to the photo library?
When a parent opens the photo-selection screen, chooses the photos to keep, and presses Save.
When is Temporary Stock cleared?
It stays available even if you close the app during the same day. When the local date changes, the previous day's stock is cleared automatically.
Does saving delete the other photos?
No. The rest of that day's stock stays available so you can keep looking and choose more later.
How do I open the photo list?
Press and hold the photo-list button on the Camera screen for three seconds. This opens the parent photo-selection screen.
What can I use for free?
Taking photos is free and has no limit. Saving the first 10 photos to your photo library is free, followed by one free saved photo per day.
How do I remove the saving limit?
Choose Remove Saving Limit from the photo-selection screen. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Remove Saving Limit and choose Restore Purchases.
Could my child open the purchase screen?
Purchase controls are kept away from the shooting screen. The photo list opens only after a three-second press-and-hold, so a purchase screen does not appear while a child is taking photos.
Does it change the standard Camera's settings?
No. Settings in Off You Go Camera are separate from the Camera app you normally use.
I cannot save a photo
Check that Off You Go Camera has permission to add photos in iPhone Settings. If saving still does not work, email us with the details below.
